Information for Patients Outside the UK
Thank you for reaching out to RareCan. Based on the location provided in your form, it looks like you are currently living outside of the United Kingdom.
Why our services are currently UK-only
At this time, RareCan’s genomic testing and clinical trial support services are exclusively available to UK residents.
There are a few key reasons for this:
Regulatory Approval: Our Insight liquid biopsy tests are currently registered as In Vitro Diagnostics (IVDs) strictly within the UK. This means we are not currently authorised to provide these specific diagnostic tests to patients in other countries.
Testing Logistics: The tests require venous blood samples to be drawn in the UK currently.
Clinical Trial Data: Our trial matching and support services are specifically mapped to the UK healthcare system and the UK-based clinical trial landscape.
Our plans for the future
Cancer does not respect borders, and neither does our mission. Our long-term goal is to make our genomic profiling and trial navigation services accessible to people living with rare cancers globally. We are actively exploring ways to expand our regulatory approvals, logistical networks, and clinical databases internationally.
Keeping you updated
Because you have submitted your details to us, we have securely saved your contact information. While we cannot offer you a test or personal trial report right now, we will keep your details on file and reach out if our services expand to your region in the future. We will also occasionally share our latest cancer research and insights with you. You can opt out from these communications at any time using the link in the emails.
